Great indoors
In summer it's cool inside, thanks to the terracotta floors and ceiling fans in every room. In winter, the Retreat is gently warmed by under-floor heating.
At any time of the year enjoy the landscaped outdoor spa (seats 4) and its magnificent view over the Kalang River and Bellinger Valley below.
An open fireplace draws you to two large, plump sofas. And to keep you there, you'll find a library of two hundred books, satellite TV with dozens of channels and a hundred CDs to listen to. Of course the sound system is iPod friendly too.
