art treasures

Dotted all around you'll find fascinating artworks and artefacts.

From the Sepik River in New Guinea , there's a collection of canoe prows. From Irian Jaya, an Asmat Shield. Suspended in the atrium is a rare barramundi trap from Arnhemland. A number of early Aboriginal desert paintings decorate the living room and bedrooms.

You'll find treasures from the white man's dreaming too. The dining table is a 300-year-old French fruitwood table. Close by are three timeworn seats from a Canterbury monastery. Whilst for those with rhythm there is a large native drum from Africa.
