Unlike the artefacts, the kitchen at Kumbaingiri Retreat couldn't be more modern.
There's a stainless steel cook top and separate oven, a massive double-door fridge/freezer, a microwave. The larder is stocked with condiments and cooking essentials. And there are plenty of places to enjoy your meal; inside and out, in the sun, in the shade and even by the river.
Just as important, the two bathrooms are also large and modern. Both have showers and one has a very roomy bath. Complementary towels are provided on arrival as is all bed linen. And if you'd like to freshen up your clothes, there's a fully equipped laundry.
